We believe in the power of storytelling, an inherent part of African culture, as a powerful tool for imagining, sparking and driving progress. And as a way to inspire more change and shape the futures we want. This is the intention behind the We Will Lead Africa Technology, Science and Innovation volume, which we are now accepting submissions for.
Are you an African technologist, scientist or innovator with a story of everyday leadership and impact?
Are you a futures enthusiast with a story that brings together vision and action for a prosperous Africa, now and into the future?
We Will Lead Africa is a global network that creates platforms for sharing and inspiring everyday African leadership through storytelling; we uplift the voices and actions of everyday Africans doing extraordinary things.
Given the tremendous growth that Africa’s Technology, Science and Innovation spaces have had, and continue to witness, we see the importance of showcasing the everyday leaders behind these exponential shifts. We also believe there is a need to build a collective view of both the opportunity and the risks that technology, science and innovation present for our continent.
This volume will collate stories of inventors, scientists, pioneers, entrepreneurs, ecosystem builders, researchers, innovators and other individuals who have played vital roles in this development.
It will celebrate the Africans who have exhibited everyday leadership, and we invite you to share your story with the rest of the world.
We look forward to receiving your submissions and working with you to produce another stellar volume that will inspire others to join in shaping our future.
